``When everything seems like an uphill struggle, just think of the view from the top``

Our Programs

Commonwealth Counseling Centers consider the unique needs of each client, tailor treatment to meet those needs, and provide clients the superior medical and behavioral care needed to move beyond addiction into long-term recovery

Outpatient Programs

Individual (OP) | Group (GOP)

Primary treatment programs recommended in some circumstances by a clinical and medical assessment. These programs enable people in recovery to continue their recovery therapies, on a part-time yet intensive schedule, designed to accommodate work and family life.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

A critical phase of recovery for individuals dealing with addiction, and provides the necessary support for clients who require treatment that extends beyond once a week.

Family Education

Substance misuse and/or abuse can often strain primary relationships to the point where there may seem there is no return. At Commonwealth Counseling Centers family sessions serve to assist family members in communicating more effectively as healing takes place and loving relations are restored.

Medication Assisted Treatment & Drug Replacement Therapy

Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications in conjunction with counseling to provide a patient centered approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Advantages include switching from a short acting opiate to a long acting opiate, and switching from an illicit, often Intravenous drug to a Oral medication that is taken under physician supervision.

Drug & Alcohol Screening

In some cases, clients will be required to provide routine and/or random alcohol and drug screens. All screening will be monitored by a qualified member of the treatment team.

Anger Management Classes

Classes are designed to help a person decrease the heightened emotional and physiological arousal often associated with anger. It is generally impossible to avoid all the people, things, and settings that incite anger, but a person may learn how to control reactions and respond in a socially appropriate manner.
